Indiana artist Jacque Hammonds earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting, Drawing, and Printmaking from the Herron School of Art/IUPUI. In 2005, she began her studio called "HGT Art" in the Carmel Arts and Design District. This gave her an opportunity to broaden her passion for painting and drawing, as well as becoming more involved with the community. In 2007, she became a member of the Hoosier Art Salon, and was chosen to exhibit one of her paintings in their annual show at the Indiana State Museum. Known in the Carmel area for over 20 years as a graphic artist, she specializes in freelance art projects for local churches and businesses, enjoying the creative process while working with her clients. Along with her experience as an artist and graphic designer, Jacque spent two and a half years teaching high school level art classes at Indiana Academy in Cicero, Indiana. At present, Jacque resides in the Fishers area, works as a full-time graphic designer for an international company, and enjoys traveling, music, nature, cafes and bookstores, renaissance faires and just being creative.
